The 14th Sheikh Bahai Technopreneurship Festival will be held from 27th to 28th of December 2018 in Isfahan in the two competition and non-competition sections. The competitors in the competition section will compete in the three areas of technopreneurs, business planners and investment opportunities. The non-competition section also includes three parts of NEShA (which is the starting point of negotiation and relation), Technology transfer forums and presenting the investment opportunities. A total of 768 plans were received by the secretariat of the Festival among them 150 plans were approved for the final stage.
A new award will be given this year in the technopreneurs section after the name of the late Dr. Mahmoud Sheikh Zeinoddin to those technopreneurs who have been able to commercialize a technology. 38 plans out of the total number of 191 plans that had been received were approved for the final stage.
100 plans from the two sections of business planners and technopreneurs were selected to attract investors in the investment opportunities section.
There is also a B2B meetings section in which the participants of the festival, investors and the representative companies of science and technology parks will negotiate with their counterparts and some of them will represent their latest technology products in the sideline exhibition.
For the first time ever in the history of the festival, a new section on the sharing knowledge and experiences in international relations seminar will be included in the festival programs. 14 successful Iranian entrepreneurs will share their knowledge and experiences in the field with the participants.
The plans received by the secretariat of the festival are mostly in the fields of ICT, agriculture, medical equipment, medical engineering, nanotechnology, chemistry and mechanics.
